Artist and Pioneer Works visual arts alum, Azzah Sultan revitalizes an ancient colorful art making practice. Inspired by batik printing, a Southeast Asian practice of fabric dyeing, where resistive wax is used to decorate fabric to create fun and vibrant designs. Participants in this workshop will use oil pastels instead of hot wax for an all ages workshop.
