The BWAC exhibition space is located at 481 Van Brunt, Door 7, Van Brunt Street, Red Hook, Brooklyn, 11231, in the pre-Civil War warehouse overlooking the Statue of Liberty.

The gallery is open weekends only, 1-6PM, during the time of our scheduled art shows.

By Train: The B61 (G and F train to Smith/9th) and the B57 & B61 (A and F train to Jay Street) buses go to Van Brunt & Beard stop.

By Ferry: 

By Car from the Brooklyn Bridge: Brooklyn Bridge becomes Adams Street. Make a right on to Atlantic Avenue, left on to Columbia Street, right on to DeGraw. Left on to Van Brunt and continue on Van Brunt to end.

By Car from the Hugh L. Carey (Brooklyn Battery) Tunnel:  Take Hamilton Avenue exit (first exit,) right on Henry Street, right on W. 9th Street, left on Columbia Street, right on Lorraine Street (cross Otsego & Dwight Streets; Lorraine turns into Wolcott Street,)  left on Van Brunt.  Continue on Van Brunt to end.

By Car from Brooklyn: Northwest on Hamilton Avenue and make a left on to Van Brunt. Continue on Van Brunt to end.

By Car from the North (Queens, Long Island, etc.):  I-278 West to Atlantic Ave Exit. Make a left at bottom of exit ramp onto Columbia St. Make a right onto Degraw. Degraw curves left and turns into Van Brunt.  Take Van Brunt all the way to the end. BWAC is at the end of the street, on the left, door 7, across the street from Fairway Market.  See map on this page for various entries for 1st and 2nd floor of the space.
