Transparent as Glass? – An International Juried Glass Exhibition
Juror: Michael Endo, curator, artist and co-director of High Desert Observatory, an education space, studio and art gallery in Yucca Valley, California
Curator: Renee Radenberg
Glass has been created and used by humans for millennia, yet was not embraced as an art form in and of itself until the twentieth century. Glass has wonderful physical properties – transparent or opaque – that allow one to see the illusion of space and depth, the constant interplay of positive and negative spaces. “This exhibition will illustrate for the public the complete range of glass-making art in the twenty-first century,” said space curator, Renee Radenberg.
Visit the gallery on Saturdays or Sundays from 1 to 6 pm. You can also view this show on BWAC’s Artsy page.
