The Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC), in cooperation with the New York City Board of Education, is pleased to announce the opening of Brooklyn North South. This exhibition features over 200 pieces of visual art by students from across Brooklyn, as well as teachers and paraprofessionals. The exhibit, at the BWAC Gallery, 481 Van Brunt St., Red Hook, Brooklyn, will be open three weekends: March 21 and 22; March 28 and 29; April 4 and 5, 2020.

An exhibit for teachers, students, parents, and art lovers. A celebration of talent and a wonderful opportunity for our kids to see themselves, or their peers, exhibit in a professional gallery setting that is a friendly and accessible introduction into the local art world. They will see firsthand that there are no barriers should they choose to pursue an art career.

The show will open with an awards ceremony on Saturday, March 21, from 1 to 6 pm, with a closing reception on Sunday, April 5, from 1 to 6 pm.

The BWAC Gallery is open weekends from 1 to 6 pm, or by appointment for press or special groups.
