FOR ART LOVERS
or anyone interested in art, artist and art making, and wish to meet with artists talking about their work on exhibition at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, Red Hook Brooklyn. Enjoy Interesting, inspiring, at times scintillating talks by artists about their work on exhibit. No knowledge of art necessary, but practicing artist will come away with images, creative ideas and a new level of understanding.

ARTISTS
talk about their latest work and “tell all” about the how, when, what, why and where; in addition to answering questions about their work and creative approach to art making.

ART EXHIBITION
of over 150 artists is installed in a historic Pre-Civil War building in Red Hook Brooklyn (with the absolutely best land-side view of our Statue of Liberty. We install two major exhibits each year and Artists_Talk_Art is held during the exhibitions. At least four artists, creating with photo, paint, collage, drawing, sculpture and more, talk about their work on display as we tour the huge gallery together. No sales pitch, only the joy of art.

FEE
Exhibitions and Artists_Talk-Art are free, donation appreciated

LOCATION
Meet at the second floor snack bar. We’ll mingle and make introductions for 15 minutes. Then you will go on quick 15-minute tour of the BWAC exhibit. At 1PM the first artist will talk by their work. Questions can be asked at the close of each artist’s talk and again at the end of all talks. We will be moving and standing for an hour so wear your comfiest.

FOOD & FUN
Eats within one block area include 1) BWAC snack bar, 2) Cafeteria style at Fairway Supermarket, with a unique outdoor area facing Lady Liberty. 3) For Hearty food, five star Texas style BBQ and drinks at the Brooklyn Homestead. 4) For fun and games, drinks and food, with a carnival touch – go to the Brooklyn Crab House, unique and breezy.
