# & Size of Strip Lights as well as Lamp type (i.e. 6 4’ T8 strips 3 T12 8’)
Color combination of GEL lamp tubes
Theme if applicable (i.e. Empire state Building)
Light Sculpture must be 75% fluorescent fixtures but can enhance piece with other lighting sources or decorative elements.
Legion Lighting is a fully equipped manufacturing facility so there is potential to remote ballasts or modify fixtures.
WHAT: Individuals or teams will construct sculptures using fluorescent light strips with colored gel sleeves. . Sculptures will be unveiled during our INDUSTRY & ART factory event Friday May 17th & 18th 2019. This is a juried show held at our Brooklyn factory during NYC Design EXPO 2019.
Legion will provide the strip fixtures at no cost. Chosen participants will need to secure funding to cover the cost of GEL colored tube guards and material other than fluorescent components.
Factory space will be available for construction along with access to manufacturers equipment at the discretion of Legion Lighting co.
